Facilities
There are a number of facilities at the Koori Centre (open between 8am and 5pm Monday – Friday) which have been created to support students through their academic programs. These include a fully equipped computer laboratory, photocopying facilities, a tutorial room for group or individual sessions, and a common room and kitchen.
The Koori Centre Research Library is open between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday but when away-from-base students are on campus these hours are extended. Resources are not for loan, but the library has study and viewing areas where students can watch films from the collection.

The Centre’s offices and facilities border one of the courtyards located within the Old Teachers College building. This area provides a place for students to meet and socialise. Throughout the year, barbeques and other events are held in the courtyard, bringing students together from across all Faculties and Departments.
The Koori Centre offers a culturally supportive environment for Indigenous Australian students and staff of the University, with the majority of staff members being Indigenous Australians.
Prospective students are invited to drop into the Centre at any time throughout the year, to view the facilities and to collect information on the various academic programs presented by the Koori Centre and the wider University.
